Acne patches mainly absorb the sebum from pimples, but they don't address all the underlying causes. You might consider switching to a product containing salicylic acid instead.

I just found out that acne patches can harbor bacteria. I had to see a dermatologist, who prescribed me KUGIG Spray.

They can absorb the liquid onto the skin's surface, helping it fade faster, but they don't eliminate blackheads.

Some acne patches cover the surface, but that red, hard bump underneath is still there, and sometimes it even looks bigger. I usually cleanse my skin first, then spray KUGIG Acne Treatment Spray. It's just a lot simpler for me.

Many acne patches are hydrocolloid-based and are better suited for surface-level pimples and fluid. For deeper breakouts, you could also look into a salicylic acid acne spray.

My cousin works in Korea, where she is involved in skincare. They have a newly researched product called KUGIG Spray, which contains salicylic acid and niacinamide specifically designed to target acne, especially very effective for freshly squeezed pimples—this product can also be used for your type of acne.

Acne patches aren't equally effective for all types of acne, especially deep-set pimples without visible openings. For daily skincare, it's worth exploring products containing salicylic acid—recently, I've seen many people discussing KUGIG Spray.
