@kyasnider: this conversation went well last year so let’s do it again. How much yall spending this year?? #christmascountdown #christmasbudget #christmas #howmuchispend
$100 gets you nothing. I have a toddler and thought it would be less expensive but nope. Tonie box is like $120, if I want to get a play couch that’s another $200, we need outdoor toys because we live in Florida, a play kitchen is like $100-$200. It’s all so freaking expensive!! I think it also depends on if you buy your kids things throughout the year or if you only get them stuff for birthdays and Christmas

I have two teen girls, so yes I generally spend easily $1000 per kid. I mean you can’t get a nice outfit for less than $100 any more. A pair of jeans at Old Navy cost $60. Now when they were small I probably only spent about half that per kid.

we go all out for the kid kids, once your 18 you enter the gift exchange. Personally we host Christmas and go all out on food, hayride and house everyone. It is dependent on the dynamics of the family and however one chooses to do it is a win for their family.

I’m definitely not spending $1000 per kid but I spend a substantial amount. One kid and 3 of her gifts alone is almost $300, but I shop all year and hide things.

All the cool stuff is stupid expensive. They got a second nugget and a chunk last year and that alone was like $500?

Our son is 13 and our daughter is 12, their wishes get more expensive at they get older... lol. Our kids are so kind, humble, respectful, and they don't ask for anything all year long. My love language is gift giving so I absolutely go nuts during Christmas!

For my adult kids I do 1/4 a beef for each of them. Plus something they want. A lot of the times it’s just necessities they want.

Definitely depends on ages. I try to do same # of gifts and not a set amount per kid. But I have 4 gifts. 1K per kid is a LOT 😂.

I saw that too! I’m shooting for $250 per kid this year, but years past have been anywhere from $100-$400 probably. It gets harder as they get older.

I have an account just for Christmas gifts. I spend about 300 per kid (they are very young and I can see it being 5-600 in the next couple of years) and then 125 for each niece and nephew. All of that strictly comes out of the Christmas fund.

Girl you do you! No one else is paying your bills so do what works for you and your hubby. Your babies will love all of it I’m sure. :)
