safa.865 :
I wanted to share a few more verses from the Quran with love and respect. Jesus was the Messiah, and he was Jewish. He lived among the Children of Israel, and Allah sent him as a messenger to them.Allah tells us that Jesus said: “O Children of Israel, I am Allah’s messenger to you, confirming the Torah that came before me and bringing good news of a messenger who will come after me, whose name is Ahmad.(Quran 61:6) Muslims believe Ahmad is another name of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. Allah gave Jesus the Injil as guidance and light (Quran 5:46). Muslims believe the Injil was revealed directly to Jesus, while the four Gospels in today’s Bible were written about his life and teachings after his lifetime. Christians believe Jesus is the Son of God, and many believe he is God. But as Muslims, we believe Jesus never taught people to worship him. We do not believe he clearly said, “I am God, worship me.”Allah tells us in the Quran: Those who say that Allah is the Messiah, son of Mary, have disbelieved. But the Messiah said, ‘O Children of Israel, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord.’ Whoever associates partners with Allah, Allah has forbidden Paradise to them, and their home will be the Fire. The wrongdoers will have no helpers.’(Quran 5:72)Allah also tells us about Christians who heard His message and recognized the truth. Their eyes filled with tears, and they said, “Our Lord, we believe, so count us among those who bear witness to the truth.” Allah promised them Paradise (Quran 5:82–85). But Allah also warns that those who reject His signs and call them lies will be among the people of the Fire (Quran 2:39). Only Allah knows what each person truly understands, and He will judge everyone fairly. Allah says His word is complete in truth and justice, and no one can change His words (Quran 6:115). He also promised to protect the Quran (Quran 15:9).Allah also says: There is no compulsion in religion. The right path has become clear from the wrong path. Whoever rejects false gods and believes in Allah has held on to the strongest handhold, which will never break. And Allah hears everything and knows everything. (Quran 2:256) May Allah guide us all to the truth.
