We’ve got a daycare just up the road from one of our bin sites and when I was hauling last summer it was every single load out of there about wore out my horns the kids loved it [Tears of joy]

Lots of break downs this year as well! Last year my husband broke his leg the day before bean harvest 2025! I will take broken equipment over broken farmer! I remind him of it too! Good luck!

I’ll let my air horn blare anywhere I see a kid do the arm pump. Best one was a kid in the back seat and mom was driving got startled. It was the best. Another was right downtown Sioux Center IA, kid dropped his toys in the driveway right at the house and ran to the end of the driveway arm pumping.

You know what sucks…. When kids do that and your horn doesn’t work and you feel like a jerk for not blowing your horn… 😒 so I throw on my Jakes instead 😂😂

We are on day 3 and only got 1 load and a half hauled to our bins. I told my husband I’m done with harvest already lol! It’s rough this year here too.

Mine do that when we have feed trucks coming in or going out the driveway! One driver in particular is their fave and he always looks for them and blows the horn. I think it makes his day just as much as it makes theirs lol
