When he complains that nothing he does is ever enough simply because you asked him to stop hurting you today, he is using his progress as a shield against accountability. You can appreciate that he ignores you for one day instead of three while still deciding that being ignored is unacceptable. I’ll be the first to admit I fraged up and after a year of trying to do it myself I finally got the kick in the arse to get up and push threw what other men say is “progress “ when in fact it is only the first brick in the road to make myself the man I k ow is fighting to come to the surface not just for myself, also for all those whom I care about.
