And if I’m being honest, there were times I got frustrated, discouraged, and started losing faith that He would ever answer that prayer. But I kept serving. I kept showing up. I kept trying to fix my eyes on Jesus, even when the waiting felt impossible. And eventually, the Lord placed my now fiancé right in my path. 🤍 Now here I am on my bachelorette trip with the most amazing girlfriends, women from all different walks of life who have prayed, cried out to the Lord, and waited alongside me in their own seasons. And my heart is so heavy for the girls who are still there, because I KNOW what that feels like. I know what it feels like to wonder if it will ever happen for you, to watch everyone else enter a new season, and to keep praying when you’re honestly tired of waiting. So to the girl who is still waiting, I need you to know that I am STILL praying for you. I am still pleading with the Lord on your behalf. I haven’t forgotten what it felt like to be you, and I never want to forget. I know the waiting is hard. I know it can be frustrating. But please, keep your eyes on Jesus. Keep serving Him. Keep trusting Him with your future. Don’t let the disappointment of this season convince you that He has forgotten you. A good, godly man is worth waiting for. A man who loves Jesus and will love you in a way that points you back to Him is worth praying for. The Lord is still good, even when the waiting sucks. And whether your story looks like mine or completely different, He is still worthy of your trust.
