For everyone yelling at me to walk I got surgery last month and I’m not supposed to walk long distances which is why I’m driving in the first place

and keep in mind you’re circling a parking garage you paid $300 a semester for a permit to park in

Honestly always thought it was ridiculous that not being able to find parking isn’t an excuse for missing class.

My college pmo so bad with this!! There were hardly any student parking lots, so everyone got congested into the parking garage and there was often not a single open space, but they wanted to fail me over attendance in the class I frickin pay for, and I got so many parking tickets because I took an open non-student space. If there’s no open student parking, we can’t park elsewhere, and we can’t be late, wtf do they expect us to do??? Teleport?

i feel like if you can’t find parking they should at least have a zoom meeting you can attend for some attendance points 😭

i'm a college instructor and i once had to spend 1.5 hours looking for parking and decided then and there that if i can't find parking in under 15 mins, my students can't either so i'm canceling class and going home

Pulled up at 6:30am and theres no parking. No parking until 6pm. And then they have the audacity to ticket you if you park in the parking garages after 3pm on Thursdays and Fridays due to the football games.

Girl its been like this since I was a freshman in 2015. You HAVE to be there 45-60 mins early. Theyve never had enough parking for students, even professor’s cant find parking sometimes.

same thing at fsu, it’s ridiculous. and they waited until THIS semester to do maintenance on one of the main garages which they keep blocking off entire floors for…😐😐😐 like why didn’t yall do this over the summer, but no they waited for peak enrollment, now i just burn time, gas, and money driving around in circles

If you havent already, you could try looking into public transportation options including a park and ride situation. I like to use the Transit app
