does it suck that we no longer have mods, yeah but unfortunately the actual game breaking cheats such as, super speed, flight, spawning resources or enemies and etc... was a genuine problem that was getting progressively worse. easy anti cheat will solve that problem for now but eventually mods will come back, hopefully for the better

cosmetic and audio only mods are still ok per yh devs but will need modified by your modmaker to cooperate with easyanticheat. your game is more likely to simply not work, not ban you if there is an issue. arrowhead assumes zero liability or responsibility for your modding habits though. it is still absolutely mod at your own risk they do not have the ability to handle any kind of mod reviews, whitelisting, or any such feature.
