I had stage 4 colorectal cancer, had 5 inch tumor had it in my lymph nodes 1 ovary and 2 spots in my lungs. I went to my local hospital and got the same story like you told, i decided to go to The James in Columbus Ohio . I done 8 months of chemo with a cocktail to keep me from getting sick which worked great and i also had a chemo pump a couple times a month for 46 hrs. I had 5 days of radiation before surgery and I done Keytruda also and that was almost 11 years ago. NEVER give up because you can WIN this

Kim & Mama :
I’m a new viewer…My Mama was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in 2022 at 76 years old. Her prognosis was she had less that 9 mos to live…she lived 4 years…Question: did the dr do genetic testing? They found that my Mama had a gene mutation MSH6 which is also called Lynch syndrome…it has been said lynch syndrome is not hereditary but as someone who works in the medical field I’ve seen many people of the same family have lynch syndrome. Just letting yall know in case yall have children. Also make sure to take a binder with the iv and fenben such as activated charcoal (there’s others) take plenty of vitamin C, eat as many green vegetables as you can…I’ll be following big hugs and prayers to you both! You got this! 💪 🙏

I am happy to say I’m still wide open and farming and running doziers living to the fullest. Be your own advocate don’t let doctors and insurance company’s lead you. My first oncologist was a total POS. rude condescending no social skills you name it. I hated him 2 minutes into our first appointment. I kicked myself for putting up with him for for several months it got worse every visit. one day a excellent oncologist from the same center filled in she was wonderful and I switched to her and I cannot believe difference between two doctors. don't settle

Most important.. try to keep a positive attitude, don’t feel bad for getting a 2nd opinion or switching doctors. You have to fight&advocate for yourself.

I was diagnosed with colon cancer, January 2026. I had a mass the size of my fist. I was able to take a couple of rounds of immunotherapy. In March, I had the right side of my colon removed. After removing that area we learned that the immunotherapy worked and killed the cancer. 💙
