We must rid agents moving forward and cut that 6% out of every deal

Sellers/realtors need to be realistic. There is a house on my street that is wayyy overpriced and it’s a shitty flip. But the price hasn’t budged.

I LOVE how the internet is full of loan officers and realtors telling everyone to buy. I called this years ago, even 5 years ago, people who rented and invested into the indexes are doing much better than most buyers, especially in HCOL markets.

It is really bad. I’ve made really good money up until last year. I made almost 40 bucks an hour and now I’m taking probably 20 if I’m walking, we were fortunate by our house. It literally seems like country one big money grab for the elite setting that the pace scale. It’s just really bad. Somethings gotta give.

Boomers are hoarding homes and refuse to sell at any less that major profits so they hold out. Homes don’t get sold new homeowners aren’t created and the cycle repeats

This guy fails to recognize that over 50% of these homeowners are financed at 3% interest rates. They will not let those homes go. People in their 30s want to buy and can’t afford it. The demand will keep the prices high in any area with decent school districts. Any home above 500k will stay high

housing prices won't come down bc the rich can still afford them. wages must go up and we have to tax the rich or they'll keep buying up all the assets.

Boomers aren’t going to save this. It’s the interest rates and the greedy banks.

The house cost the interest rates the property taxes. It's unattainable.

Builders will slow down before a market correction. Then you’ll have a supply problem, keeping prices high. People can’t afford that loss.

Remember when they made it affordable to own a house and the market collapsed bc if you make it affordable for people living paycheck to paycheck and rates changed they go into foreclosure

The biggest problem is the interest rate if I could go from the 6% I have now to a 3% I would save $1000 a month that is crazy. I’m paying an extra $360,000 over the life of my loan just because I have a six rather than a three.

If rates came down to 5.9% the housing market would explode and buyers without pay sellers 2 to 1

I agree. Housing prices are going to go down. The problem I have is they'll never go down as much as they went up.
