I totally disagree with this narrative. A man is flying down to your location, taking you to your favourite restaurant, and offering to pick you up, yet all you can ask for is money for nails? 😭 Even if you’re testing him, is nail money the test? A man’s effort, planning, and actions already tell you a lot. Stop letting social media advice turn dating into a competition. Honestly, asking for nail money in that situation would be a red flag to me, too. Life and relationships are beyond this rubbish. Not every man who refuses your demands is a red flag. Sometimes, you need to check yourself, too.
