@genx8099uk: GENX NIGHTMARE FUEL no. 4 💀 Nothing prepared us for the moment Atreyu loses Artax in The NeverEnding Story. Trapped in the Swamps of Sadness, his beloved horse slowly sinks into the mud, overwhelmed by despair. Atreyu begs him to fight it, pleads with him not to give up, desperately trying to pull him free — but Artax is already slipping away. And the most heartbreaking part? Atreyu refuses to leave him behind, even as he watches his best friend disappear beneath the swamp. We were children watching a fantasy adventure, and suddenly we were confronted with the unbearable pain of losing someone you love when there’s absolutely nothing you can do to save them. This wasn’t just a sad scene. It was childhood heartbreak that stayed with us for decades. 💔😭 #neverendingstory #80sbaby #fantasymovie #80sthrowback #80skid
