As a former police officer, they have to show you the warrant. The only reason why they want you to step outside. Because now they can grab you, do not open the door tell them to p*** off. Come back with a warrant. Because if they had a warrant, that door would have came down already

If they have a valid arrest warrant , they wouldn't be standing there talking to you. if the cops ever show up the first thing you do is demand to see a warrant.And then when you look at it, make sure you see exactly what it covers.If it's just for an arrest , do not let them in your house period because the moment you do, all bets are off.
