@subway.pulse: The NYC subway map just got a serious upgrade. The latest Subway Pulse update completely rewrites the map engine from the ground up. Subway lines and station layouts have been redesigned for better clarity, balance, and beauty. The new engine supports smooth lines and curves, which means the map can be hand tuned section by section while still staying geographically accurate. The goal is to make the subway easier to read without losing the shape of the city. The new map is live now on the web at nycsubway.info.
