I honestly don't think he ever truly got over her. I think it was the pressure from his brother constantly getting angry at him for Bianca and the fact that everyone was kind of fundamentally misunderstanding what his mind created Bianca for that led to her having to die, because now her existence was causing more harm than good and she needed to go. He still believes she's a real person, and he still believes that she lived and loved and died. He didn't get over the delusion, his mind just stopped being able to use it for what it was made for
