@natalia.galleg0s: First shift officially on my own as a new grad nurse!! 🥹 Spent the hours before work doing all the little things that make night shift feel a little less chaotic. Eye patches because apparently I'm always tired, dinner made by my boyfriend, getting ready, and trying to enjoy my last few hours of freedom before clocking in. It's honestly such a weird feeling going from having a preceptor by your side to being the nurse responsible for your own patients. I'm excited, nervous, and still trying to figure out my own routine. But we're taking it one shift at a time. To all my fellow new grads, how did your first shift off orientation go?
