TJ03 :
From a trauma survivor view, I’ve met “Christians” who hide their sins by saying “well I’m Christian, so I’m covered” instead of showing genuine repentance for their harmful decisions. These people don’t know Jesus. Jesus protects the helpless, heals the lame, forgives sinners, but also tells them not to sin, not to judge, not to cause any suffering, not to cheat or steal. Ten Commandments type stuff. And Jesus came and polished up the laws of love with parables, sermons, and his generosity. But some men after him or before him still had a wicked influence over wicked people, and they found safety in church to keep being evil. Don’t mistake this for the Christian god being evil. This is just people being bad. It’s good for the real Christians to expose the evils of another, to bring them to judgement and accountability, not to deliver judgement, but to fight them until judgement can be given. To me, you are acting as an agent for God by advocating for other cultures and people, while calling out murder, r*pe, etc. you’re good for calling that out. It’s not all Christians. It’s just the bad one, so thank you for calling them out. Just want you to know I’ve seen a full spectrum c and I just want everyone to be prepared with an accurate understanding.
