On October 5th, Kentucky State Police initiated an investigation into a male suspect after receiving information that he possessed child sexual abuse material. Joseph Matthews was arrested and lodged in the Taylor County Detention Center. He is charged with: * Unlawful Transaction with a Minor, 1st Degree -Illegal Sex Act – Victim Under 18 (x9) * Procuring or Promoting the Use of a Minor by Electronic Means (x9) * Using a Minor to Distribute Obscene Matter, 1st Degree (x9) Due to the ongoing investigation by Kentucky Stare Police and more evidence being prepared to be presented to a grand jury, details of this crime have not been fully made available yet.
