I worked at Sam's years ago. they " accidentally "had me in the deli by myself on a Saturday night. Because I was able to get all the closing done they did it again the next Saturday night. I told the cm that its supposed to be 3 closers and just because I worked like crazy and got it done twice I would not do it again. Next Saturday I was told they moved people around and Id be doing it for a third Saturday. I said I told you last week I would walk out if this happened again so Byyeee.

I work at a family-run business. if one of their kids slept in that was supposed to be on shift you bet they'd be waking them up telling them to get their butt to work. I mean back in the day I would get 2 hours of sleep and open a freaking restaurant

I was by myself on a shift until my next person arrived at 8... for 2hrs I was getting slammed $800 in 2hrs! I was finally able to reach my phone and text and all I was able to put was HELP! Within minutes my co ran in and jumped in to help- my store mgr director along with the acct person came even though they didn't know how to make drinks but they helped do food, shove out the already made drinks, doing dishes etc. THIS is what your "mgr" should have done for you! To not support you is incredibly disgusting and disrespectful! I'm so sorry!
