you did the right thing. they felt like they where a failure and was doing something wrong in the marriage. the daughter was given a warning so then the relationship between them can have a attempt of being repaired but she didn't want that so he admitted what happened. its not your fault if you give a warning and they dont follow through.

🤔so let me thik for momet, Cheating is fine as long as the other party is never told; I could understand it if it’s still in the dating phase, because women these days are always looking for something "better" and aren't willing to stick around for the ups and downs—experiences that, in hindsight, teach you how to overcome such challenges. But MARRIED??? A relationship—let alone a marriage—requires two people, not just one 🤔, simply as a matter of principle. Just think: the man in this story has spent two years living through a situation that his WIFE decided not to tell him about 🤔—and then she claims that "the matter has already been dealt with," all while he was completely unaware of it... and now they’re just carrying on as if nothing ever happened... The wife’s father did the right thing, because he, too, would not have turned a blind eye had this been done to him. (💪🏼 be strong and proses that long son-in-law)
