More than enough indeed. Do you remember we used to play at 30fps for games? Heck, go back 30 years some games play at 15fps! 60 was considered golden and 144hz was competitive expert territory and 120hz creeped in eventually and became more standard with ps5 and that. Even 120Hz pushes above what's needed. 240Hz is insane, and the higher you go the lower the returns and pretty sure that low gain for frame is well before 240Hz. I mean, I recently got a 4k oled monitor that's 240Hz... Yet I bought it with the idea of it being end game and thought well 240Hz is insane who is playing any modern title at that? My 5080 cries. Esport players now going for 500fps / 1000fps is just madness. Honestly I think achieving 4k 120Hz is endgame for pretty much 99% of people. I'd dare say even 4k 60Hz at a minimum for those who claim they can't tell the difference.

It's just that over 240hz wont make you a better player so for most people it's just not necessary..

Just wrong they tellin on themselves. Sone of us go up to 500hz for visual response and then they are also wrong cause part of your input latency on flat panels unlike crts is tied to refreshrate instead of being sub 1ms. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC8537539/

Here I have to agree, I play in 1080p up to 600hz, although i notice a difference and it feels amazing, I can’t say that it’s entirely worth the money, £1000 for a TN panel I feel zowie is a little greedy on that part 🤔

I want to play Counter Strike on a competitive level and of course someone on a 180hz monitor still can be better than me but my 360hz gives me a slight edge which I gladly take. If I had the money I would gladly take 500hz or more.
