@mrsgokart: Yesterday, I asked Jose for a sign. I just needed him to let me know he was still okay, that he was still around me, and that somehow, someway, he could still hear me when I talked to him. This morning, I went to Walmart to get diesel. As I pulled in, I looked up at the truck that had pulled in front of me, and there it was. His name. JOSE L. NARVAEZ. … (no it’s not spelled the same but it’s close). Y’all, I just sat there staring at it. Maybe some people would call it a coincidence, but when you’re missing someone as deeply as I miss my husband, you can’t help but wonder if those little moments are their way of letting you know they’re still close. Yesterday, I asked him for a sign. This morning, I saw his name right in front of me. I don’t know how to explain it, and I don’t need anyone else to understand it. I just know what I asked for, and I know what I saw. I just needed to know my husband was still with me somehow. I miss him more than words could ever explain, and I would give anything to have him here beside me again. So, Jose, if that was your way of letting me know you’re still around, I saw it, Daddy. I saw it. And I love you just as much today as I did the last time I watched you ride away. Until I can hold you again, I’ll keep looking for you in the little moments.
