literally this. can’t even explain the amount of times i’ve gotten the exchange for content pitch. like do u really think ur content is worth all the matcha im serving hand whisked in house syrups etc? bffr. there’s this social club in LA that didn’t even offer content they just said id get the exposure of serving to their guests. 75 guests for 3 hours btw.. like be sooo soo expeditiously for real

Especially small businesses because we are self funded often time still working 9 to 5 so everything is coming out of our pocket. Why would I take time to do something for exposure? It needs to pay my bills.

I donated to so many school events and Charities last year do you know how many customers I got out of it what like it's not worth giving away thousands of dollars of free stuff I gave out over $1,000 in gift certificates to one school I had one parent come to me like people do not respect free. and mind you I have customers telling me I make great stuff so I know that it's not my stuff I'm a great baker I believe in my products I know that's not the issue it's just people do not respect free they want you to give out your stuff free but they won't respect you even if you do!
