A 23-year-old drug dealer who refused to take a sick 17-year-old girl home before subjecting her to a 20-minute rape ordeal in his caravan has been jailed for 16 years. Northampton Crown Court heard that on 23 February, Jack Lemaistre, of Goldfinch Street, Thrapston, met the girl after connecting on Snapchat. He drove her to his caravan and encouraged her to smoke cannabis, which made her violently ill. Despite her repeated pleas to be driven home, Lemaistre refused. When the victim fell asleep, she woke up to find Lemaistre sexually assaulting her. He ignored her continuous cries to stop, raping and assaulting her for 20 minutes. After escaping, the survivor bravely contacted Northamptonshire Police. A raid on Lemaistre’s property uncovered large supplies of cocaine and ketamine. Although he admitted the drugs offences, he denied the sexual crimes. A jury took just two hours to find him guilty of rape and assault by penetration, and he was sentenced to 16 years in prison.
