@officerdown_memorial: Today, we honor Police Officer Kevin Sandoval, who tragically suffered a fatal heart attack during departmental training at Burro Canyon Shooting Park. He collapsed near the firing range while participating in a multi-agency training scenario with officers from the South Pasadena and Pasadena Police Departments. Fellow officers, cross-trained as paramedics, immediately provided medical attention. Officer Sandoval was then flown to Foothill Presbyterian Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. Officer Sandoval served with the South Pasadena Police Department for two years, following 18 months as a cadet. He is survived by his loving parents and sister.
