around 2002 I was driving to the Puerto Rican section of Williamsburg to pick up a friend of a friend. This was right after the smoking ban started. And me and my friend saw a giant gaggle of white people outside of a bar and we were trying to scratch her heads as to why they were hanging out in Williamsburg. It was 2002. everything was in the city.. . now look how things have changed

What I would give to have williamsburg back to how it used to be 😭 I still live here and do not recognize my own neighborhood. It's overcrowded with people and restaurants. Doesn't feel like home anymore! 💔

Fun fact…..the community tried for decades to get something done on the waterfront for the community. No one listened until the transplants came in droves.
