another read on the egg scene: she did it on purpose. a lot of why her deception is successful is because she uses domineering men as a shield, this was her setting that up for the cameras by knowing billy would take the task over for her

I think you get wrong that she “cannot see” how controlling Billy is. She can see it. IMO she whisks the eggs lightly knowing he’s going to take over. That’s the dynamic to their relationship- she fawns and he gets to be reinforced as “masculine”. Her non answers of “I don’t know if I knew” was exactly how she responded to regulators and investigative personnel. It was an exploration of how a covert narcissist and overt narcissist work in a relationship.
