Why not make the chronicle banner permanent, and just cycle between regions every patch? This way older characters get consistent reruns for anyone who wants them, and Hoyo can add or remove characters between cycles depending on the meta. And if pity carries between patches, it'll make pulling on the chronicle feel like less of a gamble.

Literally all they have to do is run the chronicle more consistently and it solves the major majority of their problems. There’s really no reason why we should be waiting over two years for Chronicles to rerun.

maybe they should do a birthday banner than runs for 24 to 48 hours. yes it might be short of a banner especially if you dont have time to play everyday, but at least you could actually plan for that ahead of time.

The should have chronicled wishes that run on a monthly timer instead of versions. these chronicled can either cycle through the regions, set groups of characters, or even characters that align w the imaginarium elements (even if they aren't good characters).

Before we get a third banner, chronicle running for an entire patch and carrying pity as well would be a worth while idea. Chronicle runs so inconsistently currently that it’s impossible to plan ahead for it.

make chronical not as bad first then we can start putting it on, like 50/50 carrying over and had capturing radiance (like people don't realise how good that system really is, like holy it should be in every hoyo game.) addionally I'd like a bit more customisation in like 4*, if we get a natlan chornoical for example, then there's literally only 4 4*, which isn't great for those who have them already. like let us pick some 4* weapons and 4* for it to incentive it

Chronicle should at least run a patch. Genshin shoukd really do a banner that last a patch like hsr, Honkai impact and zzz. It works, idk why they never did them
