Dip it again and dab it on the right to drop down a bit more ink. That way you have a think side and a wetter side and see the full shade gradient

The frustrating part is the ink looks different on every type of paper and swatching on regular card stock won’t give you a true picture of what the ink is going to look like on the paper you write on….ask me how I discovered this 🫠

Love lady grey! I recommend filling a medium or broad nib pen with it because fine and extra fine nubs don’t put down enough ink, so it writes super light and can be hard to read (learned my lesson by putting it in my EF Twsbi 😂)
