as someone whose been on maternity leave since june in NJ and HAVE YET to be paid… i go back in 3 weeks and haven’t seen a dime!!! and they have YET to approve my bonding leave. but just approved my maternity leave a week ago i filed in june….

I’m quitting as soon as I give birth! I work for the post office I get no maternity leave and no state benefits cause I’m a “federal worker”. On top of that I get no federal benefits cause the post office don’t qualify for it. I’m stacking up so I can spend at least 3 months with my baby before going back to get another job!

I’m a little pissed to say this but I saw a creator who is a stay at home mom she set up a go fund me they paid off $53k of her family debt n the husband works n she doesn’t. Why can’t we do this for you? Not even just u all of “us” im just upset because wth bro. People don’t know even if it’s $2 that will help. 😭

Yes. Last time I had to go back early. But I got that back pay. This time I filed correctly so my short term and bonding can ran concurrently. I’m out since June. Going back end of November

Disability insurance is a scam!! I’ve been suffering from severe HG and basically I tried to go on STD they literally said it was a pre existing condition!! Smh 🤦🏾♀️I’m sorry girly hoping things get better for you. 💕

That’s crazy I did nj disability with all 4 kids and never experienced that. My last I went out at 4 months. Did you speak with a supervisor or disability lawyer?

This is happening to me as well filed for disability in September got denied filed for Maternity leave still waiting to get from that which could take up to two weeks and expected to go back in November it’s already damn near the end of October

Nj is literally the best when it comes to FMLA. It always comes in at 6 weeks. Then you should qualify for 12 weeks. You have to do your research and fight.
