@meigen7982: "Sharpness is a bourgeois concept." — Henri Cartier-Bresson For a century, blur was a defect. Then artists picked it up on purpose. In 1912 Duchamp painted a figure dissolving down a staircase; at the 1913 Armory Show a critic called it "an explosion in a shingle factory." The Futurists answered with a dachshund whose legs multiplied as it walked. By the 1950s, Ernst Haas was slowing his shutter and letting color move on its own. The experiment never stopped — it just changed tools.
