@faithfortitudegrace: COMING SOON!! Something has been in the works, and I can't wait to share it with you. For a long time, I've been open about my journey fighting cancer, but for years I never really dealt with it emotionally. I kept moving. I pushed through treatment, through scans, through "no evidence of disease," and I put on the happy face everyone expected. I didn't let myself feel any of it. The fear, the trauma, the survivor's guilt. I packed it down and kept going, and it quietly waited for me until I finally had to face it. I was told I had six months to a year to live, and by God's grace, and a series of miracles allowing me the treatment I needed, I'm still here. I've learned that faith and fortitude aren't things we can just grab out of nowhere; God grows them in us, often through the very things we'd never have chosen. And healing, the real kind, isn't just physical; it's the slow work God does in the heart when we finally stop holding our breath. Soon I'll be sharing Faith & Fortitude - a Journal/Bible study for anyone facing a tough diagnosis or walking beside someone who is. I hope my story gives you hope, and that God's word anchors you and gives you space to meet God right in the middle of the difficulty. Because no one should walk this road alone.
