i don’t think this is true, solar already bypasses the whole ‘boiling water’ era of energy capture, i wholeheartedly believe that research into melanins ability to split water molecules using a much wider range of wavelengths of radiation to capture energy will lead us to upgrading solar capture technology to a point where we can construct chambers durable enough to withstand at least one fission reaction long enough to charge some batteries as thats a lot easier to achieve and honestly a lot safer than fusion
