If you buy a home on a street that’s not a dead end then it’s a through street and anyone can use it. We all pay taxes to drive our cars on the roads. This is ridiculous

the part that bothers me is that there is the potential for cars to not want to play by the rules and have a whole line going through one way that won't allow the other cars to go through. It already happens on roads that get half blocked by van, a whole line will go and not allow the other side to move.

Now let's say anything Emergency vehicle has a call where seconds means lives...Now the Emergency vehicle has to stop before it comes to the so called speed humps along with the frequency of bottle necked traffic in Somerville.Odds of survival....not good.

I drive between clients houses all day for work, would be impossible to get to each on time if i took transit everywhere. i think i'm going to look into a scooter or something whenever my car gives out. maybe an enclosed mobility scooter. i'm tired of being a car owner 😅
