Let's be honest, pretty sure there are a lot of girls (and to a lesser extent boys too) who think gaming is dumb because they never really tried it. Not saying it's a hobby every single person will love, but the stigma of "gaming nerd" has definitely kept some of the "cool kids" from enjoying it.

I once met this woman, we started seeing each other. then pokemon sword and shield came out and I had a launch day hangout with my roommates. she came, hung out for a while, and on her way home after, she stopped at the store and bought her own Nintendo switch and her first ever pokemon game. we're celebrating 3 years married this year.
