@thetimes: Who is Paul Mackenzie, the individual convicted following the tragic loss of 190 young lives in Kenya? A Kenyan preacher who instructed followers to undergo severe deprivation was found guilty of causing the deaths of 191 people, nearly all of them minors, in a case that has gripped the nation. Delivering an eight-hour judgment, Justice Diana Kavedza-Mochache found that Paul Mackenzie, 53, ordered followers and their families to extreme measures to "meet Jesus." The trial covered 191 cases with formal identifications, while investigations involving over 200 other victims continue. He and 29 other church figures had denied the charges, claiming no one was coerced. Sentencing is expected at a later date, with maximum legal penalties being considered. 🔗 Tap the link to read more *FOR NEWS PURPOSES* #crime #investigation #kenya #africa #preacher
