if i remember correctly he’s assigning each number to an element in a story he has created. then in order to remember the numbers he just has to walk through this story. like u could think of the number one as a dog and the number two as a fire hydrant which would mean a dog peeing on a hydrant could be 12 etc

This is impressive, don’t get me wrong, but people really should spend some time using a memory palace of their own and getting familiar with it, even if it’s just for credit card numbers or important peoples phone numbers.. I think most people would be blown away by how effective and relatively easy it is.
