It actually works, I stayed on top of every fold, I’m now on the moon, can someone come get me before my battery runs out or explain how to get back down, I’ll just wait here…….

you can't fold any paper beyond 7 times, regardless of the size

You can fold a piece of paper up to 7 times, not 42.

This is bull, why don't you assemble 42 equal thickness of paper. A rim of printing paper takes about 500 and fits in my hand🤔

if we fold dough for 42 times, what a nice croissant it will be lol

It’s actually true mathematically! 😂 Every time you fold a piece of paper, you double its thickness. So if you start with paper that’s 0.1mm thick, after 10 folds it’s 10cm thick, after 20 folds it’s over 100 metres, after 30 folds it’s over 100km, and after 42 folds it’s a staggering 439,805km thick! The Moon is roughly 384,400km away. Obviously, you couldn’t physically fold an A4 sheet 42 times, but the maths is absolutely correct. It’s called exponential growth. Sounds like complete bollocks, but it isn’t! 😂

there isn't even enough physical mass in a standard a4 sheet of paper to reach the moon. even if every layer was a miniscule planck length.
