My son has a highly specialized masters and can NOT get a job. He is very qualified for the jobs he applies for…albeit young (24)…but he’s being consistently ghosted. If he does get an interview, he will go thru several rounds and then be ghosted. And a month later the same exact job with the same company will be reposted!

I good friend told me the company they work for has a contract with Indeed and has to have X amount of jobs always posted. That is also driving fake jobs.

I just took a job that was never posted anywhere as the invisible hire. I texted my resume to my current boss, invited for a panel interview, offered the job immediately. After two years of unemployment, I got down on my knees and thanked God for the rescue!
