@iamtylerrayn: One of the hardest lessons I’ve learned this year is that not everyone you think will be there for you actually will. Going through my divorce opened my eyes in ways I never expected. I thought I had so many people in my corner, but when my world started falling apart, I realized just how small that circle really was. And while that realization hurt, it also taught me something beautiful. The few people who showed up, who checked on me, who loved me when I wasn’t at my best… those are the people who matter. Sometimes life has to get really dark before you can see who’s actually holding a light for you. I’m not bitter about the people who weren’t there.
