Had two players say their characters had amnesia. One ended up being hunted and found out it was due to the others actions precampaign specifically targeting them. Watch them fight over this when I orchestrated the whole thing. Later they found out they were being hunted because they killed the other players family. Double switch drop

I am the player in this scenario right now actually. my buddy and I were both forever dms until we started playing in each other's games. anyways his newest campaign. I wanted to play something very different than I normally do. I'm the guy that makes character packets with backstory, NPCs from my past ect. but I wanted to do the opposite. I wanted to go into the game knowing nothing for once so that the excitement could be learning about the world and my character at the same time. so far it has been really fun. my character is apparently "of the weave" and this evil guy called the collector wants to eat me so he can gain unlimited power... or something... we still have not exactly figured out what the collector's deal is, but we know he is evil, he wants my character, and he works with the unseily Faye.

Unfortunately my dm didn’t give me the option of creating my character’s backstory but it’s probably because I joined late 💔 she’s a haunted one (witnessed something evil and is I guess possessed by it or something) and I don’t fully understand her backstory either so I have a hard time keeping up with stuff when her lore comes up during sessions
