@sportscardinv: Someone broke into a FedEx truck parked outside PSA’s own building and walked away with nearly a million dollars in other people’s cards 😳 Police say over 200 packages were stolen from the truck while it sat outside PSA’s Santa Ana headquarters for 60 to 90 minutes on October 13th. The lock was broken and three pallets were taken, two of which PSA valued at roughly 963,000 dollars combined, with a third pallet’s value still being confirmed. These were cards that had already been graded and were on their way back home to their owners. One YouTuber, Sky-B Cards, said his submission of 104 cards he’d collected over two years was in the shipment, insured up to 156,000 dollars, and called the loss of irreplaceable cards worse than the financial hit. PSA says cert numbers on the stolen cards have been deactivated and marketplace partners have been alerted to watch for them. The company is arranging compensation, which is paid out based on ‘fair market value’ up to the maximum insured value the customer selected for each item prior to grading.
