Did you miss where they all just worked manual labor in the heat, cold, waiting for direction, or waiting for the previous step to finish for 3-4 hours? I hate road construction too… but maybe get out of your truck and ask them why they’re standing there and they’ll tell ya.

Ex Concrete pump operator here. Looks to be that the pour is done. And only 1 person is skilled to use the float and do proper *finish* Hope this helps

Yes. They work super hard and then get a break while they have to wait for the equipment or wait for things to dry. While you’re sitting home tonight with your family, they’ll still be working.
