The South African Police Service (SAPS) has officially opened applications to recruit 5,500 new entry-level police trainees. If you are looking to join the force, here is what you need to qualify: 1. Must be a South African citizen 2. Aged between 18 and 35 3. Have a Grade 12 (Matric) certificate 4. Be physically, mentally, and medically fit 5. Have a clean record with no criminal convictions or pending cases 6. Be fluent in English and at least one other official language Applications close on November 13, 2026.
