Yeah sin feels a lot like freedom. But it comes with the territory of walking away from God. When you follow God you submit your will to His will. Means your will is now to follow His will. Not yours. When you leave God you are taking back your will and doing whatever you wish. And God will let you do that. Just don't be shocked when you are held accountable and responsible your actions. I see all these videos of "deconstructionists" who are basically just either atheists pretend to have walked away, people that didn't know what they were following to begin with then they prove it by what they say and how they explain Christianity, or they are Marxists that are just flat out liars. You don't need Jesus truly have your life radically transformed in ways you can ever imagine and then one day wake up and say eh not feeling it. Bye. It's not like a pair of shoes or like what you are eating for dinner that night and your taste changes. That's not how that works. It's like once you meet Jesus Hes the love of your life and nothing in the world even comes close you don't want anything else because it's all meaningless in comparison. That doesn't happen after you experience God's love tangibly. You are all in forever. That's why the Bible says if you walk away from the faith you never belonged to it in the first place. So then you can't claim the title ex Christian. Because you never were one. But good news since you never were a Christian it means you can truly experience God's love and be saved. There is still time.
