Seiber and his partner, Hector Rodriguez, was shot on Oct. 10 near 52nd and Arch streets in West Philadelphia. Rodriguez, is still recovering from his injuries. Commissioner Kevin Bethel reflected on the death of Seiber, who served two tours in Iraq before being killed in the line of duty in Philadelphia. “They don’t serve because the work is safe," Bethel said. "They serve because they believe the work matters.” #philly
