@komo4seattle: Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines will begin nonstop service from Seattle to Osaka, Japan, and Papeete, Tahiti, next year, adding two destinations to the airlines' long-haul network. Flights to Osaka will start May 14, 2027, with service four times a week. The route will connect with destinations across Alaska’s domestic network. Osaka is in Japan’s Kansai region, near Kyoto, Nara and Kobe. Service to Papeete, in French Polynesia, will begin June 11, 2027, with flights three times a week. The new routes add to Alaska Airlines' rapidly growing international nonstop network from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. By next year, the Seattle-based airline will fly to Reykjavik, London, Rome, Seoul, Athens, Paris, Osaka, Papeete, and Tokyo. 🔗 in bio for the full story. #komo #komo4 #komonews #seattle #alaska #alaskaairlines #hawaiianairlines #japan #japantravel #osaka #tahiti #polynesia #travel #aviation #flight #asia #traveltips #osakajapan #osakafood #osakatravel #osakatrip
