How come one year I sold 3,000$ on eBay I believe it was 2023 and than we had to pay 3,000 in taxes for the 3000 I made. This year I sold about 3000 do I still have to pay that in tax. It’s not a business just cleaning up junk.

Yeah I’m done with eBay unless it’s for higher end or expensive items. Vinted has been awesome to sell on because of the lack of fees. Sorry eBay, the time has come.

If you sold stuff to ebay can you just leave it there in your account for a long time? In case like dispute happens instead of taking it from my bank account they can just use whatever amount in my ebay account and use that?

This doesn’t really change anything? The amount of time they hold your money is still the same. I don’t get paid until 2 days after item is delivered even if I sell 100k a month

Make sure if you do a early cash out you switch it back to bank deposit or eBay will even though you didn’t ask for early payout on tuesdays they will I fact take the $2 from you even though you didn’t ask it to since it was switched back to bank deposit fyi
