The dealership processed the sale wrong and reported it stolen. Don’t know what he did, but I’d have a brand new version of the used one he bought and will be asking for a seven digit settlement.

First of all, they were only doing what the warrant said. I questioned Detective and the dealership for not honestly looking at the information. Also, it was the vehicle tags registered with the VIN number. That would tell you something very important that there may be a questionable issue with a stolen vehicle.

A reported stolen car from a dealership should have been investigated beforehand. Prove it’s stolen. I can report my car stolen while it sits in my driveway. The report doesn’t mean it’s actually stolen. This is a failure by the dealership and the cops. No person should have weapons pulled on them when they are innocent, period. These are the type of mistakes that should get cops fired. This could have went horribly wrong and then another innocent is no longer with us by the hands of the cops. It would be nice to get a good politician in office to make it a mission to clean up police departments, killings, collateral damage, lies and corruption. Nothing will change until laws are passed. Laws between citizens and police are not equal and they should be. If anything the cops punishment should be worse.
