The shot is what matters I had the same thing happen to me when I was 13-14 years old and I was hunting with my uncle and some of his friends we thought I shot an 8 point and it was a dog hunt any ways it got caught up in a barbed wire fence while running after I shot him twice the couldn’t get out of the fence when I got there with my uncle another guy was cutting my dead deers throat and my uncle goes ballistic on this guy anyway the other people gave him my deer for a long time when people went to his home and saw my deer on his wall and they would say that ole John does deer he’s letting you hang it up on your wall that is nice of him
